Passages (2025)
The "Passages" series of paintings consists of an installation of large paintings and a novel published specifically for the exhibition. All the works in the series are inspired by the book Spacegirl by Hennie Huijgens, which, according to the back cover, is "a shockingly beautiful novel about friendship, music, art, and making choices." The novel is published as an integral part of the painting series "Passages". In the series, large monumental stones, megaliths, and underground burial complexes from ancient times play a prominent role in which themes such as transitions, changes, pilgrimages, and the question 'what would you do?' are central.
